Peter Grand launched Grand Affairs Group in 1988 following 15 years in the entertainment and leisure industry.
Grand Affairs Group has gone from strength to strength and the latest inclusion in the Group is Inflatable Testing and Training Service which make up the largest division within the Group.
The largest growth is in the Inflatable Testing Service which in 2011 inspected some 55 units and has grown substantially inspecting 788 units in 2016 and exceeding currently.
The training division continues to grow and Peter is a registered PIPA Trainer.
Peter serves on the PIPA Leadership Group (PLG) and is part of the Training and Development Group.

Peter Grand has over 40 years experience in the Leisure, Entertainment and Inflatable industry. Previously working for Local Authorities, YMCA and entertainment providers
In September 1988 he set up Grand Affairs Group and in 1994 inflatable hire was added to the divisions. Operating more than 100 inflatables and related items. In 2018 Grand Affairs Group celebrated 30 years in the leisure and entertainment industry.
From 2001 he has been involved in the introduction of EN 14960 and the development of the PIPA scheme.
Peter is a PIPA registered inspector/trainer and heads up the latest division of Grand Affairs Group which offers annual inspection of inflatable play equipment. This division continues to grow with an ever increasing Client base. He is also a recognised trainer and has developed a number of training courses for Local Authorities, Operators and Hirers.
He has also appeared as an 'expert witness' and continues to work with local Authorities, Manufacturers and Operators to keep safety standards at a high level
He has also presented seminars on safe use of inflatables for the Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS) and various theme parks.
